3 tips to help create win/win outcomes

tips to create win win outcomes

What does it mean to come from a place of intent which produces a win/win outcome?

For me, this is the premier golden rule in creating emotionally intelligent outcomes. When we seek to connect with others without detriment to our own well-being, we honour our own and others needs to the mutual benefit of both people. Any other outcome means that someone loses’ and when that happens, everyone loses.

So how can we work towards creating and maintaining relationships which are more harmonious and leaves everyone feeling like a winner?

Here are my top 3 quick tips:

  1. Be present in your conversations – listen with intent to understand first before being understood
  2. Are you quick to judge? Don’t assume that everyone has the same perspective as you. Value those differences and you may learn something new
  3. Listen to your gut instinct – if something doesn’t feel right, ask questions and get clarity first
